Eric Methvin, P.E., has joined R. G. Miller Engineers as a Senior Project Manager in the Transportation Department.

With more than 17 years of experience as a civil-structural engineer consultant, Eric has designed multiple bridges for the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT), Cities, Counties, Toll Road Authorities, Design Build, Light Rail and Land Development.  He also has designed many public works projects and has provided structural support to various landscape architecture projects.

Eric has a B.S. degree in Architectural Engineering and an M.S. in Engineering – both from the University of Texas at Austin – and is pre-certified by TxDOT in bridge design, multi-level interchange, pump station structures, and transportation foundation studies.

He is member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and a Katy Rotarian and has served as a board member and officer of the Houston Chapter of the Structural Engineering Institute.

Eric and his wife, Jenney, have three daughters – 8, 11 and 14 – and are very involved in school events, gymnastics and camping.
