Fatih Adam, Ph.D., P.E., has joined R.G. Miller | DCCM as a project manager in the Site Development Department.

Fatih has 12 years of engineering experience, with seven years of experience in land/site development, including preliminary site layout, utility connections, stormwater design, drainage, grading, soil erosion and sedimentation controls.   He also has worked for the Texas Department of Transportation, designing roadway rehabilitation and widening plans.

A native of Turkey, he earned his B.S. degree in Geophysical Engineering from Sakarya University in Sakarya, Turkey, and his master’s and doctorate degrees in Civil Engineering from Lamar University in Beaumont.  While working on his doctorate, he served as a research assistant and team leader for the Finite Element Methods Research Group, researching the numerical analyses of rigid pavement.

Fatih and his wife, Chia Wen, have a seven-year-old daughter, Sofia.  They enjoy traveling together, especially to visit her parents in Taiwan.  In his free time, Fatih likes to go hiking and off-roading in his truck.
