Kicking Off the College Football Season with Color Day 2023 Fun!
Marked by a display of enthusiasm and intense passion for the game, employees at R.G. Miller | DCCM kick off the college football season with Color Day 2023! Celebrating their school and displaying their team spirit, these die-hard fans proudly sport the colors of their favorite team. The University of Houston supporters definitely showed up to represent those UH Cougars.
We want to wish all the college teams and their fans a safe and successful football season.

- The record for longest winning streak in college football is held by The University of Oklahoma. The team won 47 consecutive games from 1953 to 1957. Impressive!
- The college football record for longest field goal ever kicked is held by Ove Johannson, who kicked a 69-yard field goal in 1976.
- The shortest Division I college football player is Jayson Carter from Rice University who stands at 4-foot, 9-inches.
- You’ve heard of the Rose Bowl and the Orange Bowl, but in the 1940’s other bowl games included the Raisin Bowl, Salad Bowl, and Oil Bowl.
- The college football team with the most wins in history? The University of Michigan. Go Wolverines!

- Louisiana State University mascot, Mike the Tiger, lives in a pen behind Tiger Stadium. They move his cage near the visiting team’s locker room for home games to intimidate visiting players.
