Montgomery County’s Virtual
2020 Light the Night community event, which benefits The Leukemia &
Lymphoma Society’s funding of research to find blood cancer cures, is scheduled
for November 2.
R. G. Miller Engineers is donating $10,000 in support of the Howard Hughes Corporation’s fundraising efforts for the event, which is one of a series nationwide designed to “bring light to the darkness of cancer by celebrating, honoring and remembering those touched by cancer.”
This year’s event will offer its most popular activities virtually, and although there will be no community walk as in past years, participants will be encouraged to take a brief – safe – walk around their neighborhoods.
