When R.G. Miller Engineers reached out for volunteers to assist with this year’s Healing Hearts Gala, Vanessa Mendiola answered the call!  On Saturday, May 21^st, Vanessa attended the Healing Hearts charity event held at the Hyatt Regency Houston/Galleria by assisted with the Wishing Wall.  The Wishing wall allows guests to purchase actual items such as shoes, backpacks, education supplies, etc., for children in the care of Upbring/The Krause Center. 

The Healing Hearts Gala is an annual event that raises funds for Texas facilities, which operate as residential safe havens for abused children and teens.  Unfortunately, in most cases these children are unable to be adopted or placed in permanent homes because they have fallen victim to human trafficking.  In December 2021, RGME was pleased to make a monetary holiday donation to this organization on behalf of our valued clients.
