Community Resources Credit Union Building

Community Resources Credit Union Building

Project Description

Landev Engineers provided civil engineering services for the first phase of development, a 35,000-square-foot, two-story Community Resources Credit Union Office Building project located in Baytown, designed on a 11.88-acre tract. The design also included a drainage report, provided by Binkley & Barfield, as well as an outfall structure.

The first project that Landev Engineers designed for CRCU was the outfall and drop structure for the storm sewer drainage and detention. The drop structure design modifies the existing sheet pile structure in HCFCD Ditch No. O129-00-00 by upgrading it to a concrete structure with riprap upstream and downstream. The outfall storm sewer pipe collects the water from the site and drains to HCFCD Ditch No. O129-00-00.

The first phase of the on-site design consisted of fire sprinkler supply line, water meters, irrigation, and sanitary sewer service; on-site paving, grading, and drainage design; agency and project coordination; stormwater pollution prevention plan; and construction administration. A traffic analysis was performed for the intersection of Rollingbrook Drive and Rollingcreek Drive. The analysis was requested by the City of Baytown for determination of a signalized intersection. The design was reviewed and permitted through the City of Baytown to provide water and sanitary sewer service.
